In response to this question, Rahul Gandhi said,

I will move from development focused idea to employment focused idea. We need growth, but along with production and employment generation, we also need to emphasize on value addition. At present, if we look at the growth of India, then the relationship between our growth and employment generation should not be like that. While China is far ahead of us in this matter. I have never met such a Chinese leader, who describes the creation of employment as a problem. Therefore, I am not interested in the economic growth rate of 9 percent, if I do not have employment.

On the question related to the measures to speed up the economy, Rahul said that now there is only one option. Money should be given in the hands of the people. For this we have the idea of 'justice'. In this program, Burns was speaking on the idea of democracy against the harsh ideas being presented by China and Russia. Whatever is happening in India, nothing is heard from the US government. If you are talking about 'participation of democracy', then what is your view on what is happening in the country? I believe that America is a meaningful idea. This is freedom, the way freedom has been given in your constitution, but you have to protect that idea. This is the real question.

Asked about the challenge of increasing domination of China, he said that countries like India and America can tackle China's challenge with democratic values as well as prosperity and development of manufacturing sector.

When asked about the electoral failure of the Congress and the strategy ahead, Rahul said,
To contest elections, I need an institutional structure, a judicial system that protects me, a media that is independent to the logical level, I want economic equality, I want an institutional structure that will make me operate like a political party. I do not have all these things. We are in such a different situation today, that those institutions which are not able to protect us, have to protect us. Institutions that have to cooperate for a fair political contest, they are not doing so now.
